Old World Romance Meets Colorado Charm: A Tuscany-Inspired Styled Shoot at Villa Parker

villa parker tuscan style wedding

If you've ever dreamt of saying I do under the golden Tuscan sun but want to stay stateside, this romantic Colorado editorial is all the inspiration you need. Designed to evoke the charm of an Italian countryside celebration, this styled shoot at Villa Parker feels like a destination wedding without ever leaving Colorado.

With its terracotta-hued walls, archways, and Mediterranean architecture, Villa Parker was the ideal backdrop to bring a slice of Tuscany to the Rockies. Planner and designer Maggie Boesen Co. envisioned a day full of warmth, texture, and timeless elegance, brought to life by some of Colorado’s finest creatives. Captured beautifully by Sarah Kempers Photo, the editorial blends natural beauty with refined details in the most seamless way.

The color palette was inspired by the muted earth tones of the Italian landscape — think soft neutrals, sun-kissed rusts, and lush greenery. RLY RLY Studio created organic floral arrangements that felt as if they had been gathered fresh from a Tuscan garden, with delicate blooms spilling effortlessly from stone urns and adorning the tablescape.

The tablescape is a lush celebration of rich jewel tones and elegant European textures, perfectly complementing the Tuscan-inspired aesthetic of Villa Parker. The standout element is the vibrant floral design, featuring a striking palette of fuchsia, deep burgundy, plum, and magenta — a bold departure from traditional muted tones, adding drama and romance in perfect measure. The florals, with their natural, unstructured form, evoke the feeling of fresh garden clippings, enhancing the organic elegance of the setting.

Crystal glassware and etched goblets bring a refined sparkle to the table, playing beautifully with the natural light. Their vintage-inspired detailing adds to the old-world charm, while tall glass votives and faceted crystal candle sleeves cast a soft, romantic glow, perfect for an al fresco Tuscan evening.

The green velvet napkins introduce an earthy contrast that anchors the table and connects it to the surrounding landscape. The subtle sage pattern on the linens adds texture and dimension without overpowering the setting — a thoughtful nod to the vineyard hills of Italy.

Every element, from the sculptural blooms to the heirloom-inspired tabletop decor, was chosen to create a layered, immersive experience that feels both elevated and inviting. This is a modern take on Italian rustic elegance, designed for the couple who loves tradition with a twist.
